As the holiday season kicked off, our team packed up and headed down to Daytona Beach, Florida, to kick off an exciting and event-filled week at Daytona Kart Week, starting off the day after Christmas. The event is an exciting one in the karting world, attracting racers and enthusiasts from across the country, and we were thrilled to not only be a part of it but also serve as the official parts vendor for the event!
A Winning Combo: Parts Sales and Product Launch
This year, we had the privilege of not just being part of the action but of supporting it in a significant way. Our team did exceptionally well in parts sales, ensuring that racers had everything they needed to keep their karts in peak condition. But there was something even more exciting in store: the launch of our 3D Printed Kart Parts and Accessories line.
This new product line included essential items like MyChron Shields and Covers, Oil Cap Remover Tools, and other innovative accessories designed to make life easier for karting enthusiasts. The event was the perfect platform for this launch, as it allowed us to showcase our cutting-edge designs and meet the immediate needs of racers on the ground. The response was fantastic, and we can’t wait to continue expanding this line in the future.
"I Am the Storm" – A Motto in Action
At Daytona Kart Week, our team really embodied one of our favorite sayings: "I am the Storm." This isn’t just a slogan for us; it’s a mindset. The phrase represents strength, unity, and the ability to rise above challenges. As the event unfolded, our team demonstrated this in full force. Whether it was through the smooth execution of parts sales, supporting our racers, or adapting quickly to the fast-paced environment, we proved once again that when we come together as one, we can tackle anything.
A Podium Finish and a Top-Performing Team
Of course, the heart of the event was the racing itself, and we’re incredibly proud of how our drivers performed. Elam Stoner delivered a spectacular second-place finish in the Red Slide Class, racing on his Coyote Racing Chassis, powered by the Kart City Performance L0206 Engine. It was an impressive display of skill and strategy, and Elam showed what happens when preparation and determination come together.
But it didn’t stop there. Our team as a whole demonstrated remarkable strength, with Amaxx Racing having three drivers in the top 6 in the same class. Elam was joined by teammates Hank Lai and Lincoln Willey, all driving on the same powerful setup of Coyote Racing Chassis and Kart City Performance Engines. The performance of these racers showed that our team’s commitment to excellence extends from the parts we sell to the drivers we support.
Looking Ahead
Daytona Kart Week was a massive success for our team—not just in terms of racing, but in how we showcased our products, our unity, and our drive to always push forward. The event was a testament to the dedication of our crew and drivers, and it sets the stage for even more exciting things to come in 2025.
We’re ready to continue providing top-tier parts, performance, and innovation to the karting community. Whether you’re a racer, a fan, or a fellow vendor, we’re excited to be part of this amazing sport and can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of the year.
Until next time, remember: I am the Storm.
